Towel folding
Found out last week that one of the first things I learn in my training is how to fold towels in the shapes of animals :)
I found this and I wish to be able to make it by the end of my 3 months :)

My Disney Placement Experience
This is my first post for my blog, ive decided to keep an online record of my journey and experience that i will have, back in 2011 i applied for the disney placement as part of my year 2 module, i had to change my module to 'Learning in the wider world' which meant i could go abroad and be assessed that way rather than doing a normal 'work based learning' placement, which i would have just been in a school teaching drama for 5 weeks....
the reason i came to the university of chester was because they offered the placement to disney world, and couldnt pass up the opportunity to be able to go... got my unconditonal place on Drama and theatre studies with events management, and then had to wait for my second year to come around....
second year started and i wasnt told thier would be a lecture on the disney placement offered to the students, i came across it by luck.... i went to the WBL lecture and afterwards went to the disney table that had been set up to find out i had missed my chance to stick my name down for the first interview.... so admittly i was gutted, luckily i spoke to someone that said i hung around upstairs i might be able to get a interview later on in the day if someone had dropped out or not turned up....
i spoke to someone from yummy jobs who were carrying out the first group interviews, and he just said come in.... so i was over the moon because i had thought i was going to be hanging around til 8pm that evening....
i sat in the interview answered the questions, and got a bit excited because i had just been thrown in and not had the chance to have it sink in i was in an interview to work for disney.... and me being me decided to do my impression from 'Up'.... "The wildness must be explored, ka kaww... RAWR!" (with the actions) if you've seen the film you'll understand how much i laugh about what i did now :P
but i got through to round two which i found out whilst i was back at home, and shouted it across the main road at my mum...
the second interview i felt went well, i fell back on my drama background a lot :)
this got me my placement, and recieved my final 'congratulations' email
